Tyler Nathan is the 23-year-old founder and chief executive of RiVE. While studying at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School as an undergraduate student, Tyler became increasingly alarmed by the dangerous compulsion he witnessed in friends and in his own behavior to text and drive. Tyler made it his personal mission to put an end to the epidemic of distracted driving, took a leave of absence from Emory University, and began to develop RiVE full-time. In 2017, he was named a finalist for the prestigious Thiel Fellowship for his innovative work on RiVE.
Afraz Siddiqui is a young and talented software engineer and entrepreneur. Afraz has a passion for improving people's lives through disruptive innovation, leading him to found several of his own ventures. Most notably, while attending the University of New Haven, Afraz founded, developed, and ultimately sold his own social media start-up. Afraz also earned a Masters in Computer Science with a concentration in computational engineering from Harvard University. As a software engineer for RiVE, Afraz is bringing his background, experience, and skills to help make driving a safer experience for everyone.
Israel Flores is a passionate software engineer. In May 2017, Israel graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Applied and Computational Mathematics and a minor in Computer Programming. For years, Israel has worked on a number of projects across a variety of industries in all things programming. Israel chose to work for RiVE to bring about a positive change to how we drive, and looks forward to witnessing drivers across the country and world integrate RiVE into their daily driving routines!
Rick Rubin is a seasoned hardware specialist with expertise in product design, engineering, and manufacturing. Rick has more than 35 years of senior level management and consumer design background. He has created and manufactured state-of-the-art products for the gaming, semiconductor, healthcare, toy, and aerospace industries. Rick joined RiVE due to his excitement to improve the ways people drive and make driving safer.
